ABOUT US

The Directorate of Health, Culture, and Sports at Kayseri University was established in accordance with the provisions of Decree-Law No. 124 on the Administrative Organization of Higher Education Institutions and Higher Education Governing Bodies. Our Directorate is a core administrative unit that provides services to protect the physical and mental health of our University’s students and staff and to meet their nutritional, work, rest, and social needs. In line with the principles of the Integrated Quality Management System (BKYS), our Directorate aims to support the education and teaching process with a student-centered approach, enhance the quality of campus life, and strengthen institutional loyalty.

OUR AREAS OF ACTIVITY AND SERVICES

Our Directorate carries out its duties and responsibilities through the branch offices under its jurisdiction:

• Culture and Sports Services: Coordination of student clubs, social and cultural events, official ceremonies, as well as the organization of “Sports-Friendly Campus” projects and sporting events. • Food Services: Providing healthy, balanced, and high-quality food services to students and staff at our central and district campuses.

• Social Services and Scholarship Operations: Coordination of meal scholarships for students in need, philanthropic scholarships, and scholarships/loans from the Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK).

• Psychological Counseling and Guidance (PDR): Free counseling services based on the principles of confidentiality and reliability, supporting our students’ individual and academic adjustment processes.

• Procurement and Accounting: Ensuring that budget, tender, procurement, part-time employment, and inventory record-keeping processes for our Directorate and its affiliated units are carried out in accordance with the law.
